Valencia is just a horrible carpark, it's not even a good layout. At least this track has some exciting turns, and when it's finished it should look really good.

The last turn looks exciting, I love how the cars hug that wall on the inside then blast out onto the pit straight, should cause some problems with backmarkers too judging by how often the slower cars held people up there in fp1.

Did anyone else see the Titanic of the little boats deployed by the teams? I think it may have been Sauber showing off, but I'm not sure who it belonged to. No prizes for guessing what Red bulls one was made of.

I don't know what you two are complaining about, that was the best qualifying coverage I've seen all year. You must have missed the fun, boat races, Vettel turing photographer, mechanics doing little rain dances. It was all very relaxed and quite fun really, we got some nice details out of it too, like looking close up at the Mclaren car and garage, and the Lotus pitwall. Oh and that safety car was aquaplaning all over the place, it does look and sound very nice though.
Oh dear. Despite that picture I'm looking forward to this one, Suzuka is one of my favourite circuits, and one perk of being ill is having the weekend off to enjoy the race.

Well it has loads more weapons and combinations than the demo, and it's in a different setting. There is more to do, and Chuck says some hilarious one liners, for example he kills one of the boss guys by dropping him onto a chainsaw and he says "I saw what you did there". Not to mention you get co-op story mode, and verses modes online.

I think they are forced to release a game every year as part of the license, that's why they did the crappy F1 2009 game for the Wii and spent a big longer working on this one. So far on the 360 I am only dissapointed at how rubbish the AI are. I managed to qualify 9th and finish 8th in a HRT on the hardest mode, despite a slow pitstop and a few half spins.
I tell you what, the only thing they got wrong is the low fuel performance of the cars. I qualifed 9th in my HRT, then ended up 17th on lap 1, and 21st near the end of the race. At which point I got a totally bullshit penalty for apparently not giving way to a blue flag. I would have basically need to pull over and stop for a second to let the ferrari past, and when I did I overtook it again because it was too slow. So then frustrated with a drive though penalty I pushed hard to make up the 21 seconds to my team mate, and promtly ditched the car into the wall, twice.
Played my first practice session on the 360, in the HRT, 7 year season on the hardest settings. My best time put me up around 13th or 14th in the session, but I did get a 5 place penalty for some reason, I'm assuming I caused too many incidents because I did spin quite a lot. So far I think the competition is a bit easy, but the cars are challenging and fun to drive.
Kubica just needs the car underneath him and the team behind him, then he will wipe the floor with the likes of Alonso, Hamilton and Vettel. I would sell the entire grid 10 times over to get Kubica in my team, if Renault let him go they deserve to go the same way as BMW.
